No interstate runs through Lynn. • Downtown and Central Square. A dense grid of one-way streets with bus traffic and little spare curb. A full-size carrier does not load comfortably here; the Lynnway a few blocks south is the usual answer.
• East Lynn and the Highlands. Older triple-decker and two-family blocks, often on a grade, with parking on both sides. Workable with a short meet on a wider street.
• West Lynn and Wyoma. More single-family housing with driveways toward the Saugus and Peabody lines. Among the easier parts of the city.
• The Lynnway and the waterfront. Wide commercial frontage and large lots. This is where most Lynn handovers actually happen, and it is a few minutes from anywhere in the city.

Nahant, and why it needs planning

Nahant is a small town on a peninsula reached only by a single causeway that runs out from Lynn Beach. There is one road on and one road off, the causeway is narrow, and there is very little space to manoeuvre a 75-foot vehicle at the far end.

We serve Nahant, and the way it works is straightforward once you know it: the driver will usually ask to meet on the Lynn side, near the top of the causeway, rather than attempting the run out and back. If the vehicle has to be collected at a Nahant address, it needs more notice than a mainland pickup and more flexibility on the date, because the driver has to plan the approach around traffic and turning space. Neither costs extra. Both are worth knowing before you pick a date.
